IT ALL STARTED IN 2017

The old fish tavern of Minas in Platia Ammos of Kythira island revives its old glories under new management with highly disguised dishes based on fresh local fish.

Our menu is rounded out as well with salads, appetizers, variety of cheese originated from different Greek locations and local seafood entrées. All made in-house and the approach is simple and straightforward with something for everyone.

We have cultivated an inspired wine list which is value driven, carefully selected, and unique.

There is also an interesting list with beers from Greek breweries.

Our shared vision and common goal is to offer genuine hospitality to our guests, garner relationships and establish ourselves not only as an island gem, but also a Kythirian destination where our guests can be confident that their experiences are sure to be exceptional.

The Kritamon in greek, sea fennel (Crithmum maritimum L.) is a wild plant from the same family of the parsley and celery, that is used as a fresh ingredient for many food preparations. This wild plant is promoting anti-aging and overall strength and luster of the skin.

The introduction of  in gastronomy could increase the sensory appeal of some traditional dishes and support the creation of many new recipes.

Already registered as a “Super Food” because of its antioxidant power and nearly double nutritional and healing properties in opposition to the common white garlic, Black Garlic is gaining space in gastronomy and healthy food.

Black garlic cloves can be used in pesto for pasta sauces, in risotto, as spreads for sandwiches or burgers, as a salad dressing. You can give another dimension to the tzatziki. Blend sauces for the fish or meat in order to give characteristic body and aroma.
